Different ranks on the OCPP forums

When you register on the OCPP forums, in order to have full access to this forum, you must be "masked" as a member. There are different "ranks" on the OCPP forums, and they distinguish between OCPP Members, OCPP Directorate, government officials, official partners, workers, guests, etc.

To help you understand the different ranks and their roles a little easier, here are the different descriptions, restrictions and abilities that members with different ranks have:

OCPP Directorate:These members are elected by the OCPP Members, and chosen to act as a board of directors whose role is to lead, and moderate OCPP's discussions and policies. When a vote is taken, the OCPP directorate members have a vote power of 7, as opposed to 5, like the other OCPP Members. The number of OCPP directors is dependent on the number of OCPP Members, and will be decided and voted by the OCPP members. The OCPP Directorate's only "advantage" over other OCPP Members, is that they have access to a special area in the forum known as the "board room", in which the directors can privately discuses issues. The OCPP Directorate have access to the entire forum.

OCPP Member:These are members of the OCPP. In order to be a member, you must own a Canadian oil company. The OCPP members discuses oil policies and other issues, and its goal is to reach a mutually agreeable solution for all members. Apart from the "board room", the OCPP members have access to every area on the OCPP forum. Each OCPP member has a vote power of 5.

Moving Ticket GM:These are the general managers of Canadian moving ticket companies. They have access to the "OCPP Announcements" area. They do not have access to the OCPP Member Discussion Area.

Member of Government:These are members of the Canadian. They have access to the "OCPP Announcements" area. They do not have access to the OCPP Member Discussion Area.

Oil Company Employee:These employees currently working for a Canadian oil company. They have access to the "OCPP Announcements" area. They do not have access to the OCPP Member Discussion Area.

OCPP Guest:These are simply guests to have been granted access to the OCPP news center. They can be either journalists or retired members who have been granted access to OCPP's "OCPP Announcements" area.They do not have access to the OCPP Member Discussion Area.

Admin's Guest:these are members masked by the Admin and who are either old members of the OCPP Directorate who have retired and have become "honorary members", or special guests who are given the chance to take a peek at OCPP operations. Admin's guests have access to all areas of the forums, but can only write in the area that a regular OCPP guest is able to.
